Well, she’s down and out and she’s got a new album out, but that isn’t stopping rap artists from bagging on Britney Spears. No, the sneers and the jeers for Britney Spears can be heard from 50-Cent as he raps the word “It’s Britney, bitch!’ from his latest release.

And Jay-Z also bags on Britney as well. On his American Gangster album, Jay-Z raps the song Roc Boys and says, “Hero’n got less steps than Britney/ That means it ain’t stepped on, dig me?” The reference is to heroin that hasn’t been cut to dilute it and Spears’ trips to rehab.

Jay-Z is a cagy one, too as he implies without saying. He’s also told several sources that he doesn’t write down his lyrics anymore and hasn’t done so in over 10 years. So, you just have to listen hard to catch all the rhymes, all the time even when it’s bagging on Britney time.

Getting bitch-slapped by rappers is nothing new to Britney Spears, however. A year ago, a reggae / rap tune was circulating on iTunes and Yahoo Music called “Black Princess.” In the song, the lyrics say “India Arie, you are so sweet and lovely. Britney Spears you are ugly”.

So much for kicking a person when they are up or down. It’s hard to think that Britney is even paying attention to any of this. Spear’s Billboard Top 50 album “Blackout” is kicking “Black Princess” ass left and right. Besides, right now, she has to save all of her rapping for Christmas and court.
